
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the North Carolina State University, Bartosz spent 12 years in Northern California designing and managing teams developing lifestyle products, consumer electronics, and household appliances. In this role, he has successfully completed research and marketing initiatives, gathering data to generate conceptual designs and manufacturing-ready CAD models. He had the opportunity to create consumer designs for clients, including Samsung, LG, river, Mattel, Epson, Fila, Haier, and Virgin Mobile.
Since joining BlackHägen Design, Bartosz has re-focused his career predominantly on developing medical devices and mission-critical products. He applies an effective user-centered approach to problem-solving, conceptual development, and aesthetic branding for medical devices leading companies such as Philips, Medtronic, Stryker, Bayer, Olympus, BD, Terumo, Smith & Nephew, ResMed, and many others. Bartosz is advanced in Class A 3D-CAD surfacing skills and generates ergonomically and economically thoughtful designs, resulting in robust CAD databases ready for manufacture. He is also a central resource developing effective user interfaces as an integral part of UX design.
Fluent in German and Polish, he participates in global usability studies and performs qualitative and quantitative research data analysis to discover design opportunities and drive requirements.
