BH has developed a refined design research methodology that identifies and confirms robust usage requirements that ultimately drive innovative product development initiatives. The BH design research methods include:
- Observation immersion into the user’s personal experiences, aspirations and environment to uncover latent needs and desires. Our research and Human Factors specialists ensure accurate and unbiased data collection, analysis and archiving.
- Interviews engages users in visual storytelling to elicit accurate User Preferences and Product Requirements.
- Interactive Props kinematic study models and visual research tools, or i-Props, enable users and influencers to better communicate their experiences and desires. Participatory 3D and 2D i-Props provide a visual means to facilitate the collection and documentation of research data.
- Synthesis the bridge between generative and evaluative research translates discoveries into concepts that can confirm usability and market feasibility. BH sends both designers and research specialists into the field as ethnographers so that our designers gain intrinsic usage scenario experience which translates directly into the conceptualization of study models and ultimately design direction.
